DCSAT

DCSAT, or DemocracyCraft Standardized Admissions Test, is a Del Rey-specific admissions exam to better measure the aspiring students’ scholastic aptitude in our program areas of Law and Journalism. It is also used as a determining factor for tuition scholarships awarded by us to the students who need them.

How do I take the exam?

Make sure you are logged in on our site and choose "Register for DCSAT" button in the student dashboard.

When registering for the exam, you will be given an option to add the Law or Journalism section to the default DCSAT sections.

DCSAT has 3 default sections: Reading, Grammar, and Rudimentary Mathematics. Each section is scored on a scale from 1 to 25. After completing all sections, a composite score is calculated by combining the three section scores, also reported on the same 1–25 scale.

Default sections (Reading, Grammar, and Rudimentary Mathematics) consist of 45 minutes overall. Additional sections like Law and Journalism each consist of 20 minutes.

You do not need to do anything after your DCSAT score is released; it will be displayed to the admissions officers alongside your application.
